Learn about your Medicare options early

There can be penalties if you do not enroll on time, so it's best to familiarize yourself with your option at least 3 months before you turn 65.

There are many options for Medicare. You need to decide whether you will in enroll in Part A, Part B, or Part D and whether you want any special plans for your Medicare coverage. Alternatively, you could choose to opt-out of enrollment entirely! Your decision will be unique to your specific needs so it's important to fully understand your options.
